St. Lawrence Valley
Human Resources Management Association
The St. Lawrence Valley Human Resource Management Association
(SLVHRMA) is a local chapter of the national Society for Human Resource
Management. Our organization
serves the needs of local St. Lawrence County Human Resource Professionals
and the businesses for which they provide services.
The SLVHRMA is more than just
that. We also reach out to the community of
small businesses that may not have the need for, or the resources to maintain a full time Human
Resource staff. The SLVHRMA can
and often does provide the assistance and resources that these local
businesses need to remain in compliance with both state and federal labor
laws. In addition, we provide
a sounding board and resource center for our local business
owners.
It is our goal to serve the Human Resource Professionals and business owners of St. Lawrence County, thereby providing an environment where the profession may continue to grow while maintaining our ongoing efforts to meet local Human Resource needs.
